Certified staff, paraeducators, and other educational support specialists should select from a variety of introductory training sessions related to core district curriculum and technology resources across all grade levels and departments or district-wide initiatives in the afternoon. Most teachers are expected to attend at least two out of three resource sessions. Administrators may be reaching out to their staff to provide guidance specific for their buildings or individual teachers about the number or type of sessions to attend.
A successful school system is made of teams: grade-level teams, department teams, school improvement teams, planning teams, and more. Use this time to meet with a team of your choosing to plan, collaborate, and prepare for the start of the year! Teams will meet in various locations of their choosing and should report to building administrators to share team planning notes.

Teams may elect to meet in a teacher's classroom not being used for another session or they may plan in the FHS Library.
